"We Are the Colour"
Colour plays a vital role in the world which we live in. Colour can influence thinking, change actions, and cause reactions. It can irritate or soothe your eyes, raise your blood pressure or suppress your appetite.
As a powerful form of communication, color is irreplaceable. Red means "stop" and green means "go." Traffic lights send this universal message. Likewise, the colors used for a product, web site, business card, or logo cause powerful reactions and statistics show that color is one of the major reasons for product purchase (more than 60%).
The way colour is being perceived changes
according to changes in lifestyle. The colour of cars, phones, kitchen
appliances and clothes tell the tale of these changes. Since entering
the multimedia age for example, children growing up in an urban
environment no longer identify a certain yellow as
„buttercup“ but as „pokemon
yellow“.
Colour Forecasting – Prophecy or science?
Non and both - As in all fields that touch the human culture, data gathering, expertise and constant exchange of mind are a base on which a forecast can be ventured. Nobody can predict the future, but we know how to read the signs to understand which way we are going – colourwise!
